Roadtrip!!
Yesterday we went to the Anjuna market, which is really huge (about 2000+ vendors) which was really cool. Today we went for an ayurvedic massage, but it wasn't actually that great-as he was either tickling or hurting me and they use sooo much oil (I felt like an greasy samosa :)). Then we rented a scooter and drove all the way to Arambol (30min), which is our new favorite beach. I drove, besides the 5 minutes that Janice succeeded in crossing an intersection diagonally and then almost crashing into a fence (that was the end of her turn!). But driving was fine, we were only on small roads. Though you have to be careful of the cows! We're off to Panjii tomorrow...

Bill Bryson, move over! Oh, my gosh your descriptions make me laugh! And what lovely photos. You sound like you are having a marvelous time. Travel is all about putting positive energy out into the world...
Little ol'e Halifax is still here. Very cold but sunny. I'm living vacariously through you at the moment!
So happy, you're happy.

Hi Sarah,
I'm still following your progress down the south-west coast of India, and hauling out my atlas as well as trusty Lonely Planet guide to India. It's a great geography lesson!
I'm happy to finally see a photo of you..( the one on the motorcycle-you are brave! I don't trust my reactions on a motorcycle)
I can relate to your oily massage session! Each time I have been to Delhi, I've gone to the aryvedic clinic to have an hour's massage. Two women work on me at the same time doing the same motion. Sometimes it hurts but I always leave feeling like I've done something good for my body!
I am loving the photos you post...the spices, ribbons, saris...all those vibrant colours!
Looking forward to your next posting...
Lisa
P/S. I received your e-mail as well and will pass on your greetings to Sean and Graham.
Sari! I'm glad you are having fun, so jealous that I'm not there! Sorry I didn't call and say goodbye, I kind of lost track of time. Well keep me posted on your fun ventures!
