Mumbai!!

Hi,
Janice and I are finally here!!! It was really easy to get through the airport (so small!!) and find a hotel. Though the driving is insane and sooo busy-more scary because our cab driver looked about 11 years old. :) The drive took us through a quick glimple of the different areas of Mumbai-rich and extremely poor. While I knew there are a lot of slums in Mumbai, I didn't realize that they were literally on the side of the street--ppl living a few feet from a the 6 lane highway.
Everything else is great! We are only staying another night and then heading out of the city...

Sarah,

It's great that you guys have arrived safely.

I am commenting on your blog at George Brown College in Toronto. I had a lengthy meeting with the associate director of recruitment about Ontario Colleges initiative that I am working on from now till May.

The meeting was interesting and Mr. Porter was a great listener at the same time. He also asked some pointed questions, something that I enjoy greatly when I am talking to people.

Slums and people living inchs away from the road will be common sight for you in next few months you will be in India. Do not let them bother you. Do what you can to help out while there and leave the rest to others and fate.

Hi Sarah,
The long wait is over and you have arrived!
There will be so many different impressions, sights and smells during your stay in India. Absorb it all and keep writing.
All is well with us here in Wolfville.
